Pike County Children’s Services– Waverly, OH

Pike County Children’s Services called on Snider Recreation to design and install a play zone for children ages 5-12.  The structure, in the popular enchanted color theme, is full of fun.

The structure seems to have a two of everything.  The structure components include the Manitou and Tango climbers, a Rock’n Roll and Contour slide, a tracks and 3-in-a-Row play panels, Powerful Pods and a Shaker Square Roof.

Surfacing is the most important safety requirement for a playground.  There are many choices from engineered wood fiber mulch, turf, rubber surfacing and tiles.  Pike County Children’s Services chose to have poured rubber surfacing to be installed at their site.  Poured rubber is an inclusive surfacing and can have the thicknesses modified to allow for proper critical fall heights under different play equipment.
