Snider & Associates, Inc. was incorporated in 1989. The original company was founded in 1986, but reincorporated as Snider & Associates, Inc. in 1989. The founder, Chuck Snider spent the early part of  his career in the legal industry and founded Snider & Associates, Inc. originally to consult to the legal industry.

Our Story

One fall day in 1989, Mr Snider, (who has five children) was reading a bulletin that his wife brought home from her PTA meeting. In that bulletin it was mentioned that a firm in the recreation industry was looking for a local company to represent their products. Chuck contacted that company and set up a company/personal interview. Chuck, also being a self  proclaimed "gym rat", "bouncin' buddy" and volunteer coach, checked with some of his contacts in the school and park and recreation industry and inquired about this particular company as well as the recreation industry as a whole.  Low and behold, Snider & Associates, Inc. was hired and the rest is history.

The Recreation Division of Snider is now 20 years young! Chuck always tells people he went from dealing with strife and misery on a regular basis to selling “fun”.  His love of fun, athletics, and children has made this business "a joy to be around".

Snider & Associates, Inc. has grown from about five people in the late 1980’s to up to thirty people in peak season. The Sales Staff includes Carey Holmes (Northern Indiana), Joe Esparza (Southern Indiana), Jeff Snider (Western Ohio), Jamey Snider (Eastern Ohio), Steve and Crystal Baker (Western Pennsylvania), John Kane (Eastern Pennsylvania) , and Vicki Crawford and Steve Smart (Western Michigan).

Snider has installation crews in all four states as well. Installation for Indiana is coordinated by Joe Esparza, Michigan is coordinated by Mitch Burley, and Ohio and Pennsylnvaina is coordinated by John Kessler. The office staff for the Recreation Division includes Judy Nair, Linda Martin, Kelley Snider, Cameron Martin, and Chuck’s wife, Janis Snider.

Snider & Associates, Inc. primarily services four states: Indiana, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Ohio. Chuck is a long time resident of Parma, Ohio and the corporate offices and warehouse are located in North Royalton, Ohio.

During the peak boating months, Snider & Associates, Inc. also opens their satellite boat dock office in Port Clinton, Ohio. They have been members of NPCAI since its inception and represent several quality manufacturers in the playground, recreation and athletic equipment field.
